HALL Napa releases 2009 Cabernet Franc
1October 9, 2012 by Paul
Cabernet Franc is one of my absolute favorites…and I was thrilled to receive an email this morning announcing the release of Hall Wines’ 2009 HALL Napa Valley Cabernet Franc. Priced at $45 per bottle (minus 10% for Hall club members), it’s safe to say I’m ordering a few bottles…
Hall also released the 2009 HALL Craig’s Cuvee, an affordably priced red blend that sounds truly outstanding…as is everything Hall produces. It’s described as having “wonderful floral aromas that lead to flavors of rich, ripe red fruit with a touch of baking spices.”
This is the inaugural release of this label from Hall, and I have no doubt it will be well worth trying for anyone looking for a high quality but affordable everyday drinking wine.
I’m looking forward to trying both of these new releases from one of my favorite spots in Napa!
Hi Paul, I’m new to your blog. What a terrific gig! I remember you from a brief how-de-do at UOP many years ago. Looks like you’re doing great. I look forward to more postings. Katie
